Connected to our Reverse Proxy feature, we are excited to announce our support for Sitemaps!

Sitemaps are integral part of your SEO strategy. We create two sitemaps natively in Revenue HQ:

  • /sitemaps/pages.xml
    • Contains a list of all your enabled landing pages
      • Landing pages that “prevent indexing” will be skipped
  • /sitemaps/index.xml
    • An index file of all sitemaps

By default, the index file located at /sitemaps/index.xml will only contain a reference to the sitemap file found at /sitemaps/pages.xml. However, you can explicitly add externally managed sitemap indexes to this directory. Please note that these should be sitemap index files (and not URL sets).

As always, sitemaps can be managed via the API. But you can also add and remove them via the web console.

Revenue HQ adds two external sitemaps to our index file: one from our WordPress blog, and the other from our documentation site.

You can see our sitemap in action at https://revenuehq.com/sitemaps/index.xml.
